Comrade Omoyele Sowore, the African Action Congress (AAC) Presidential Candidate, has launched a volley against Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) Presidential Candidate (APC).

Tinubu and Sowore were among those who attended the National Peace Committee meeting in Abuja on Friday, which was led by Gen Abdulsalami Abubakar (rtd).

According to Abdulsalami, the meeting was organized to ensure the correct conduct of the candidates, their parties, and other stakeholders, particularly during the election campaigns.

Sowore tweeted hours after the meeting ended that Tinubu had made no contribution.

"We just returned from a meeting of party leaders/Presidential candidates with the national peace committee in Abuja, where the Presidential candidate of The @OfficialAPCNg @officialABAT slept through the meeting and didn't speak a word. "His party chair spoke for him," Sowore tweeted.

It was previously stated that Sowore caused a commotion by opposing the seating arrangement and threatening to leave the committee and other candidates.

"I observe that this same scenario happened at the ICC during the signing of the peace accord, and this is not fair," he had remarked.

Gen. Abdulsalami, who informed Sowore that his position was taken into consideration, also stated that Sowore may quit if he was not satisfied.
