Ada Joy Agwu Eme, a 24-year-old model and event planner from Abia State, has won the 2022 Most Beautiful Girl in Nigeria contest.
She defeated 36 other candidates to win the 34th edition of MBGN, a nationwide competition held on Friday evening at the Eko Hotel in Lagos State.
Ada is from Amaogudu Abiriba in Abia State's Ohafia Local Government Area.
Miss Edo, Montana Onose Felix finished in second place and was awarded Miss Universe Nigeria 2022.
Miss Anambra, Genevieve Ukatu, Miss Abuja, Ifeoma Uzogheli, and Miss Lagos, Lydia Balogun, were among the top five contestants and took home the titles of Miss Supranational Nigeria, Miss Ecowas Nigeria, and Miss Tourism Nigeria, respectively.
In 2021, Ada surpassed Oluchi Madubuike as the Most Beautiful Girl in Nigeria.
