During the party's rally at the arcade site of Ake Palace in Abeokuta, Ogun State, its National Chairman, Senator Iyorchia Ayu, made this claim.
Ayu stated, "It demonstrates the APC's fear." In Osun State, they feared us and refused to give us the stadium, so we had our demonstration on the road and won. Everywhere we travel in an APC-controlled state, they ensure that we are denied access to the event.
"Nigerians should not be alarmed, since the APC is exhibiting panic and is fearful of losing power. When we were in Ekiti, they refused to provide us with the proper venue. They shut down all gas stations, and there were no buses. This indicates that PDP is making a comeback.
"Because we are stronger than ever, no one should be concerned about the obstacles they place in our path," he stated.
Ayu added that the PDP will defeat the APC at polling stations, wards, local governments, and on the national level.
He stated, "We must recover this country and reconstruct Nigeria because when we came to power, we founded this party in order to improve the living standards of our citizens."
The life of Nigerians will improve when the PDP presidential candidate returns to power, according to the PDP chairman.
