She stated that as the country is discussing a new Nigeria, the current National Assembly members should be replaced.
She stated that, if elected, she would bring new initiatives to the National Assembly, one of which would be to collaborate with the next President.
A lawyer named Mbakwe told The Nation in Anambra that Senators, Uche Ekwunife, and Victor Umeh, among others, should leave and allow others to in.
Mbakwe faces serious political opponents, including Chief Kodilichukwu Okelekwe of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Umeh of Labour Party (LP), and Ekwunife of People's Democratic Party (PDP).
"Since we are planning for a new president in Nigeria, we should also plan for new legislators who can work effectively with him," she said.
