Japan came in first place in the global passport ranking because its citizens can go to 193 countries without a visa.
Singapore and South Korea came in second because people with their passports can go to 192 countries without a visa.
The Henley Passport Index is based on information from the International Air Transport Association (IATA) about important travel statistics from 199 different passports and 227 travel destinations.
Only 46 countries, mostly in Africa, will let people with a green Nigerian passport in without a visa or a visa on arrival. This puts Nigeria at number 180 out of 199 countries.
Eritrea, Iran, Iraq, South Sudan, Somalia, Yemen, Bangladesh, Lebanon, Libya, Pakistan, and Syria also have some of the worst passports in the world.
Afghanistan's passport, on the other hand, ranked last because its holders can only visit 27 countries without a visa.
Since 2006, Nigeria has been at the bottom of every list.
