Governor Soludo made the statement in Igboukwu as he commissioned an auditorium restored by the alumni association of Boys Secondary School, Igboukwu built on the school's grounds. He stated that the government's resources alone are insufficient to carry out development projects.
The highlight of the occasion was when Governor Soludo awarded full-scale scholarships to three children who constructed a miniature automobile, house, and power generator.
The Governor awarded a university scholarship to an SS2 student from Ikéngà Aguata, as well as a Primary 5 student who wishes to attend seminary school after completing secondary school.
According to the Governor, promoting such innovation is central to the objectives of his government.
"The children symbolise that the emphasis is placed not only on knowledge but also on ability." These children have proven it.
"When certain individuals call me, I frequently ask them what problem they want to solve for Nd Anambra.
"The combination of these concepts to generate these goods is the very essence of our gathering.
"I am grateful to the alumni of Boys Secondary School Igboukwu, especially Engineer Dom Okafor, for undertaking this endeavour.
This is a celebration of our PCPP development strategy because the government's resources for development are limited.
"The roads we've already inaugurated have cost approximately $100 billion, not to mention our initiatives in health and other sectors. Even if the amount given to government is multiplied by five, it is still insufficient to cover all expenses.
"We highlight this PCPP approach for this reason. The Governor emphasised that what individuals and communities can accomplish is at the core of development.
"Many communities have taken it upon themselves to develop their locations. Private entities control 99 percent of what the government needs for development.
"Part of our mission is to encourage the people to give their share and assume responsibility," Governor Soludo emphasised.
"We've gathered here to honour such initiative. Although we appreciate the alumni for their efforts, it is time for them to do more.
"This type of endeavour is about awareness, not necessarily willingness. I recommend it to both individuals and groups.
Access expedited pay post "As a government, we strive to accomplish as much as possible.
"In our brief nine months in office, we have created 256 kilometres of roads.
"As part of the paradigm shift we've implemented, we've decided to only flag off the roads we can complete in a given time frame, as opposed to telling lies and making unattainable claims."
The governor, who wished the people of Anambra a prosperous new year, expressed faith that Anambra will ultimately benefit from the foundation created in its first few months.
Engineer Dom Okafor, the philanthropist, stated that he was motivated by a desire to give back to society and desired that more individuals would join the effort to better society, beginning in their local communities.
In addition to the inauguration of a water facility, Governor's Chief of Staff Ernest Ezeajughi and others attended the occasion.
