Eze gave this advice at the 2022 Ofala festival of HRH Igwe (Dr.) Robert Eze, the traditional ruler of Ukpo in the Dunukofia local government area of Anambra State.
Eze said, "I told Peter Obi to drop out of the race, but he wouldn't listen. I told him straight out that I wasn't in his plans. I told him to give up his plans and try again next time.
"When he told me about his plans, I asked him which western and northern states he thought he could win. He told me, but that didn't convince me. I told him he couldn't win, so he wouldn't waste his time and money.
