He was hurt in a car accident on Sunday and died on Monday from those injuries.
Agwu was in charge of the Ishielu Development Center in the Ishielu Local Government Area until he died.
He was taken to a hospital to get help, but no one was able to save him.
His body was later taken to the funeral home.
Sources say that the accident took place on the Enugu-Abakaliki motorway.
Mr. Obinna Onwe, who is the chairman of Ishielu Local Government Area, said that Agwu had died.
He said that the Agwu's death was a big loss for the council and the state as a whole, and he told the family that he was sorry.
