The incident apparently occurred on Tuesday night but was only reported to the public on Wednesday.
People in our town have been talking about what happened on Wednesday morning. Allegedly, armed guys stormed the hospital (not named) and abducted four newborns.
According to reports from the neighbourhood, the attack did not result in any casualties or fatalities. According to a local neighbour, "no one knows why they broke inside the hospital."
However, locals are unsure if the kidnapped babies are being sold to childless people or if they are being removed for ritual purposes.
Authorities in Nigeria were unable to confirm the occurrence at the time of this publication.
When approached by the media outlet, DSP Toochukwu Ikenga, spokesperson for the State Police Command, replied, "I don't have such a thing before me presently."
