Tinubu went to Chatham House to talk to Nigerians living outside of Nigeria about why they should vote for him in 2023.

After his speech, which was livestreamed on Arise TV, some people in the audience asked him questions about security, oil theft, education, the economy, and how he planned to handle crises in those areas if he became president.
When the moderator asked him to answer the questions, Tinubu said he would have some people in his group do it.

The former governor of Lagos State asked the governor of Kaduna State, Nasir El-Rufai, to talk about how his (Tinubu's) government would deal with insecurity. He also asked Dele Aleke, the director of strategic communication for the All Progressives Congress (APC) Presidential Campaign Council, to answer the question about oil theft.
Tinubu also sent Wale Edun, a former Commissioner for Finance in Lagos State, to answer a question about how he would improve the economy if he were elected.
