The Governor of Rivers State, Nyesom Wike has said that his Abia State counterpart, Okezie Ikpeazu is not like those who he supported financially but later left the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
The governor stated this on Thursday while speaking at the PDP 2023 general election campaign flag-off in Umuahia.
He urged the residents of Abia to obey and follow Ikpeazu’s leadership.
According to Wike, the G5 governors will continue to support all the candidates of the PDP in the state.
He said, “There’s nothing like going back, do whatever Ikpeazu tells you to do. He is a man of integrity, honesty and he is dependable, unlike some people who we supported with money and yet they left the party”.
