Thursday, our correspondent watched Soludo's interview on Channels Television's Politics Today, a political program.
He stated, "On South-East Security, we need Nnamdi Kanu, all parties at the table... grant him administrative bail, and I am willing to serve as a surety..."
Recall that Soludo had called for Mr. Kanu's release during the 15 January launch of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) presidential campaign in Awka, Anambra State.
Abubakar Malami, AGF and Minister of Justice, has responded to Soludo's plea to stand as a guarantee for Nnamdi Kanu, leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB).
Wednesday, the Attorney General informed reporters that he had not received Mr. Soludo's request.
"No such request is formally pending before the federal government or the court system.
"As of today, 18 January 2023, I have not received any application deriving from the public statement made by the governor of Anambra State (Chukwuma Soludo)," Malami added.
