Ammani stated, "The suspected IPOB/ESN renegades who attacked and attempted to torch the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) Office at Amechi-Awkunanaw in Enugu South Local Government Area on January 15, 2023 at approximately 9:15 p.m. were repelled by Police operatives on duty in the office."
