On Wednesday, at approximately 7:30 a.m., he was murdered in front of his family's home.
The gunmen, believed to be vigilante operations, arrived in a Sienna and a Lexus 300, according to an eyewitness.
They were said to have been hired by a man who came to collect a debt of N100,000 with Ifeanyi.
Victor Diala, state chairman of YPP, acknowledged the occurrence.
He stated, "It occurred. The young man was shot outside of his residence.
“The odd part is that they carried his body to Federal Medical Centre, Owerri (FMC) where they marked it ‘unknown gunman’.”
Michael Abattam, the police spokesperson, could not be reached for comment.
