Justice Evelyn Maha of the Federal High Court in Abuja invalidated the primary poll that produced Edeoga as the LP candidate in the state on November 9 of last year.
The judge ruled in the case filed by Captain Everest Nnaji and ordered a new primary election in the state within fourteen days.
In the lawsuit, Nnaji contested his removal from the August 4, 2022 election.
In her judgement, the judge determined that LP failed to produce evidence of notice of the primary election, which would have allowed all of the party's governorship candidates to participate.
On Friday, the appellate court reversed the lower court's decision and ruled Edeoga to be the legitimate candidate for the LP in Enugu State.
With the verdict, Edeoga will compete against 17 other candidates for the governorship of Enugu in the state's election on March 11.
