According to reports gathered by Ndiigboworldwide on Tuesday, at least four individuals were murdered in the incident in Awka, the state capital.
According to reports, the vicious assault occurred at the residence of Chief Obi Maduka in Nodu Okpuno, the town square of Nodu.
One of the victims, Kenechukwu Okeke, was reportedly the local PDP chairman.
It was determined that the assailants entered the compound in a white-colored Toyota Corolla, shot four individuals seated inside the compound, and then departed, leaving them in a pool of blood.
According to one of the sources that confirmed the event, Onyiebo Okoye, nicknamed "Onwa,” Kenechukwu Okeke (PDP chairman), Jude Ebenezer, and Obinna Maduka were the four victims.
The media site reported that a graphic video of the incident depicted four young guys laying in a pool of blood while sympathisers mourned the gruesome murder.
One of the sympathisers whose voice was heard in the subterranean stated, "This one is still alive; let's take him to the hospital," indicating one of the victims.
According to a second source, as the attackers attacked the scene, they were unable to seize their primary target, so they began shooting at individuals who were seated and being entertained by their host.
At this moment, the Anambra State Command of the Nigeria Police Force has not issued an official comment regarding the incident.
