The commissioner, who is ICESS Co-Chair with the Enugu State Independence National Electoral Commission (INEC) Resident Electoral Commissioner, Dr. Joseph Chukwuemeka Chukwu, talked about some of the possible threats to the elections and promised to make sure they are dealt with before, during, and after the elections by working with other agencies.
He said this on Thursday, December 22, 2022, at the INEC Headquarters in Enugu, during the opening of the Enugu State Interagency Consultative Committee on Election Security (ICCES).
CP Ahmed Ammani, the Commissioner of Police for the Enugu State Command, has said that the agencies will work together more to make sure that the 2023 general election is peaceful, free, fair, and trustworthy.
