The state's DSS Director, Wilcox Idaminabo, disclosed this on Wednesday during a meeting with stakeholders in Owerri. The state's Resident Electoral Commissioner, Sylvia Agu, attended the meeting.
Idaminabo stated that the suspect was a member of the team responsible for the attacks on the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) offices in Owerri and Orlu as well as multiple attacks on government facilities.
According to him, the secret police and other security agencies were dedicated to maintaining the state's lasting peace.
