According to the statement, the money will pay for their travel to the Christmas party, the cost of rice, Christmas gifts, and other gifts for 1,270 Ebonyians who live in Lagos and Abuja.
The State government asked the Secretary to the State Government, Commissioner for Trade and Investment, Commissioner for Human Capital Development and Monitoring, Commissioner for Health, and Commissioner for Special Duties to oversee the payment of these Christmas empowerment funds to Ebonyians in Abuja and Lagos. Each beneficiary must also have a bank verification number (BVN) and phone number.
