Alhaji Aminu Jakada, Jigawa State Coordinator of the Commission, met the Emir of Dutse on Tuesday.
He stated the commission had only registered 2.5 million persons in the state.
Kazaure registered 50%, Hadejia 37%, Dutse 30%, Gumel 25%, and Ringim 23%.
Jakada said the commission and certain companies donated 1,500 PCs for registration.
He asked traditional elders for help raising awareness about the ID number.
Alhaji Nuhu Muhammad Sanusi, emir of Dutse, vowed to work with the commission to register more people.
