Governor Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi of Enugu State has called a meeting of security chiefs from the South East for an emergency meeting on security.

Our reporter found out that the emergency security meeting going on at the government house in Enugu had nothing to do with the security problems in the area or the factional group IPOB's 5-day sit-in.

Our correspondent says that people in Enugu broke the 5-day order to stay home by going about their regular business and commercial activities.

Governor Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi of Enugu State is in charge of the security meeting going on at government house right now. Also there are the Commissioner of Police for Enugu State, CP Ahmed Ammani, the Garrison Commander of the 82nd Division of the Nigerian Army, Brig. Gen. M.K. Ibrahim, and the Air Commander of the 553 Base Services Group of the Nigerian Air Force (NAF), Enugu, Air Commodore Isaiah Taiwo.

Aloysius Obiorah is the State Commandant of the Nigerian Security and Civil Defense Corps. Habu Maina Daluwa is the State Director of the Department of State Services (DSS).

Nicholas Obiako, Controller of Corrections, Nigerian Correctional Service, Enugu State Command; DCI Mukhtar T. Musa, Acting Comptroller of Immigration, Enugu State Command; AC Opaluwa O.P., Assistant Comptroller of Customs, Enugu, Anambra, and Ebonyi Command; and Anthony Ogbodo, Sector Commander, Federal Road Safety Corps, Enugu.
