Martins Agbaso, State Coordinator of the party's Presidential Campaign Council, and Ambrose Onyekwere, State Chairman of the party, had previously announced the Kanu Nwankwo Sports Stadium as the venue of the event after their application for the Dan Anyiam stadium and the Ndubuisi Kanu Square, formerly known as Heroes Square, was denied.
