Dr. Chukwuemeka Ezeife stated that the Southern and Middle Belt Forum has already agreed to call all the presidential candidates from the Southeast, interview them, and adopt one of them, and that a careful examination of all the candidates from the Southeast would reveal that there is one who is everyone's candidate.
Dr. Chukwuemeka Ezeife continued by stating that the Igbo Elders worked very hard in Abuja to get him out of the PDP so that he could run for president, and that the subject of adopting him does not arise because he is their trusted and anointed candidate.
Is it possible that the Igbo Elders understood that Peter Obi had no chance of defeating Atiku Abubakar in the PDP's primary election and hence forced him to leave the party?
